The water is shallow at first and gradually deepens, making the beach perfect for families with young children. Along the entire beach, there are restaurants and cafés offering Greek flavors as well as international influences.
Vathi is also connected to two of the most beautiful hiking trails in Sifnos, making it an ideal starting point for hikers.
At the edge of the settlement, just before the small dock and the church of Agios Taxiarchis, you’ll find the Taxiarchis Seaside Apartments. Since cars are not allowed inside Vathi, visitors must leave their vehicle in the free parking area outside the settlement.
